About the Gang

Hi Gagné Gang!
I am the Founder, Victoria Gagné, and I am so excited you’re here to learn about who we are and how GL came to life!

Spending hours each day on the train commuting to Manhattan for work, I had a LOT of time to think about what I truly care about and could see myself doing for the rest of my working days.

Lingerie can be intimidating for some women so they avoid wearing it- I know this because most of my friends wouldn’t even entertain the idea of trying it on. While at the mall with my friend I walked her into Victoria’s Secret and made her try on a Valentine’s Day outfit. The scandalous smile on her face when she walked out of the dressing room was when it clicked- lingerie.

I have always loved wearing lingerie because of the way it makes me feel – absolutely beautiful, beyond sexy, and dominant. I feel the power that comes within wearing lingerie and want all women to know what that feeling is.

To avoid the intimidating factor of lingerie, ‘feel sexy, be comfy’ is one main part of our purpose at GL. We want to show women how sexy and powerful they can feel, while staying within their comfort zone.

I met our Design Director, Rhiannon, in 2015 while working for the same company. She was the designer on my team and we became close friends almost immediately. I remember one day at work I asked her ‘I want to start a lingerie line, do you want to help me?’ The next night after work was when it all started coming to life.

Trains and their tracks have inspired a few elements of the brand, since many ideas were created while on the train. One of my close friends, Kim, was given images of train tracks as inspiration to design our logo. Each collection’s photoshoot will also be taken on different abandoned train tracks around the world. Our first collection was photographed where GL was created, New York!

Rhiannon and I have many personal connections to the military and because of these relationships, we value the importance of our military. We hope to make a difference with our support to our US Veterans, active military, first responders, military families, wounded warriors and their caregivers. With your purchase we are able to show our gratitude to these heroes in our lives a little more than we could yesterday!

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us! We are so grateful for your love and support. We hope you join us in growing our beautiful family of confident women!

Where It All Began...

Hey Gagné Gang, I’m Founder Victoria Gagné (right) and

I’m excited you’re here to learn about how GL came to life!

I’ve always wanted to start my own line and when I thought about what I feel a connection to and could see myself building a brand around, two things almost instantly came to mind – lingerie and the military. Very opposite ends of the spectrum, I know, but keep reading to find out why!

When I met our Design Director, Rhiannon (left), in 2015, we were working on the same team at a clothing company. We almost instantly became very good friends.

A few years later while having another unsatisfying day at work, I asked

Rhiannon if she wanted to help me start a lingerie brand I’ve been dreaming

up for a while and her immediate response was – “let’s do it!”

Why Lingerie?

Lingerie is something every woman wears every single day – whether it be just a bra & underwear, to PJs, to a garter belt – it’s a part of our daily wardrobe in one way or another, yet some women are easily intimidated by it.

I always tell this story when someone asks me ‘why lingerie?’

because I think it just shows how powerful it can be

to the person wearing it.

I was with a friend right before Valentine’s Day a few years back and

asked her if she had an outfit for her now husband, and she looked

at me like I was crazy! I walked her into an intimate apparel store

and the look on her face when she walked out of the dressing room confirmed that there is just so much power in wearing lingerie.

She felt SO proud of her body and confident in how she looked.

When you feel confident and beautiful, that’s exactly how everyone in your life, even people you just meet, will see you, and that confidence

is all I want to give you.

It’s not about how skinny you are or how tall, it’s about how you feel in your own skin and however you feel, is what everyone will see.

Our designs are specifically created to have our customers stay within their

comfort zone, while feeling sexy, and good about their purchase

knowing they are helping make a difference.

How We Make A Difference!

My Dad is a Veteran as well as a lot of my family and friends. I have seen first hand how it affects that person and everyone in their life.

These men and woman serving our country have always held a

special place in my heart and giving back to support them is just as important to me as the lingerie piece of the brand.

Part of our purpose at Gagné is to make a difference, and to do that

we are going to donate a portion of every purchase to a foundation that

supports Veterans, active military, first responders,

wounded warriors and their caregivers.

With your purchase we are able to show our gratitude to these

heroes in our lives a little more than we could yesterday, thank you!

Growing up in New York ourselves, Rhiannon and I both felt a responsibility as business owners to have our products made in NY. Because of this we are also able to see all of our designs from start-to-finish to ensure each piece is long lasting and of the highest quality possible.

Why Train Tracks?

Trains and their tracks have inspired a few elements of the brand since many ideas were
created while I was on the train commuting to work every day.

Because of this, each new collection’s photoshoot will be taken on different abandoned train

tracks around the world.  Our first collection was photographed where GL was created, New York!

One of my close friends, Kim, was given images of train tracks as inspiration to design our logo!

from the bottom of our hearts with kisses,
thank you for all of your love & support!
